At Solara, we use advanced laser technology that targets the ink particles beneath your skin. The laser breaks the pigment into smaller fragments, which your body naturally clears away over time—safely and effectively.

While black ink is the easiest to treat, Solara’s laser systems are designed to address a wide range of pigments, including reds, blues, and greens. During your consultation, we’ll evaluate your tattoo’s colors and depth to determine the most effective treatment plan.

Tattoo removal typically requires multiple sessions, depending on factors like ink color, density, age, and location of the tattoo. Most patients see progressive fading over 6–10 treatments spaced several weeks apart.

You may feel a brief stinging sensation—similar to the snap of a rubber band—but most patients find the treatment very tolerable. At Solara, we use cooling technology and topical numbing to ensure your comfort throughout the procedure.

Mild redness, swelling, or temporary lightening of the skin is common and usually subsides within a few days. Your provider will give aftercare instructions to promote healing and help your skin recover quickly between sessions.
